A shock hits the world of sports and communities of fans as the news pours in about Kobe Bryant and his daughter's death. 

Sources say 41 year old  Kobe was traveling with his 13 year old daughter 'Gianna Bryant' and several others when his private helicopter went down. There were no survivors. 

Gianna was a basketball player herself and Kobe was often spotted at games with his daughter like in the picture above.

Celebrities and fans from all over are posting there condolences through social media. Some of the  postings on Twitter are:
