Congratulations to Rap Artist 'Cardi B' from Love & Hip Hop for her victory in hitting the top of the Billboard chart.
RollingStone reports that since Lauryn Hill's "That Thing" (Doo Wop) in 1998 there hasn't been a female solo rapper to hit the top of the Hot 100 chart all alone.
Bodak Yellow has been number 2 behind Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" in the past week, but the Stone's source (Spin) reported that even though Swift's camp may have tried to stay ahead by reducing the price of her single on iTunes, it still didn't keep Cardi B from taking the crown.
