The music artist was honored with a Leaf stepping stone on the Celebrity Path Walkway at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
Since the walkway was created in 1985, the garden has honored some Brooklynite artists, actors, poets, and athletes with a colored paver stone which is decorated with a unique leaf outlined in bronze and celebrities embedded name for their achievements and patronage to the city and community.
